About the Course
Because developing countries, such as India, are rapidly evolving into a more technologically advanced society, the demand for the energy products to fuel such progress has rapidly shifted outward. Speculators and investors are becoming increasingly attracted to the multifunctionality of energy futures contracts.
This course is about market knowledge. We are not going to talk trading strategies as such, but having broad market knowledge can help you formulate an opinion, approach or strategy in certain conditions. It also gives you options in terms of widening the markets you trade as you develop.
This course is part of the series of courses we call ‘About Futures’. In this one we look at energy futures traded on the CME. Overall, the series of courses can be used as a reference guide.
We look at five key markets here. If you are going to trade just one energy market, you need to know all of these.
